Dr Jinesh Panchali, Senior Vice President, FTKMC, is a Ph.D. in Management in the area of Mergers and Acquisitions from Faculty of Management Studies, M.S. University of Baroda. He is a postgraduate in Management with specialisation in Finance. Dr Jinesh is also a Cost Accountant. Prior to joining FTKMC, he was working with Indian Institute of Capital Markets as a Dean.
Dr Jinesh has 18 years of professional experience in teaching. He was a member of the steering committee constituted by National Security Council Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office, under the chairmanship of N.N. Vora to oversee training programmes on economic security. Besides, he was a member of the National Task Force set up by the Forward Markets Commission. During 2003-04, he was a member of the committee on Corporate Governance, Indian Merchants’ Chamber. He was also a team member of the World Bank-sponsored programme for preparing training material for Indian Venture Capital Association. Dr Jinesh has offered a programme for DCDM, Mauritius, and was a consultant to the Capital Market Development Authority, Fiji. He is instrumental in initiating training and certification programmes, and alliances with educational institutions for FT Knowledge Management. Dr Jinesh regularly visits XLRI, Jamshedpur; IIM, Indore; XIMB, Bhubaneswar; and IIT, Mumbai, for courses in Valuation, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Shrikant Koundinya, Assistant Vice President, FTKMC, is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA-UK) with over 14 years of diverse experience in finance and capital markets in areas such as audit, research, ERP, MIS, and training. He has given many presentations to corporates (Bharat Forge, India Infoline, Religare, etc.), banks (such as RBI, ING Bank, etc.), and reputed academic institutes (such as Nirma Institute of Management, XIMB, ICFAI, IIM-A, etc.) on Commodities, Equities, Options, Forex, Risk Management, Valuations, Accounting, and Taxation. He has also designed and organized a number of short-term and long-term programmes on the commodity ecosystem.
Hitesh Sethia, Senior Manager, FTKMC, has represented the company in various seminars and has conducted training programmes at reputed institutes, such as Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad & Bangalore); Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Pune; Birla Institute of Management Technology, Noida; Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (Mumbai & Bangalore); Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune; and RBI College of Agricultural Banking, Pune.
Mr Sethia is a postgraduate in finance & management. He has designed and organized many short-term and long-term training programmes across different parts of the value chain in the commodity ecosystem. He is also the programme director of the certificate programme, Diploma in Commodity Markets (DICM), conducted jointly by FTKMC and Welingkar Institute, Mumbai. Mr Sethia has conducted more than 20 training programmes on Jobbers, Arbitrage, and Spreads. His areas of speciality are exchange risk management, market operations, clearing and settlement, delivery mechanism, price risk management, and volatility analysis in commodity markets. He has also written market insights on commodity and currency markets.
Vinit Singh Kaler, Senior Executive, FTKMC, is a graduate in Business Administration (Finance) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He is an MBA in Planning and Entrepreneurship, with specialization in Finance and Marketing, from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management, New Delhi. He is also an MCX-Certified Commodity Professional. Mr Kaler is a Risk consultant and trainer. In FTKMC, he has been handling projects on Price Risk Management and Hedging Strategies for various companies such as Hindustan Copper, Binani Zinc, Bajaj Electricals, Haldia Petrochemicals, Endurance Systems, etc.
He has represented the Exchange in various seminars and has been conducting training programmes at Bankers Institute of Rural Development, Lucknow (for NABARD members); SCMHRD, Pune; Welingkar Institute, Mumbai; EMPI Institute, New Delhi; K.J. Somaiya Institute; Viva Institute of Management; KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar; and N.L. Dalmia Institute in Mumbai. He held a pan-India corporate presentation for Heads of Treasuries in association with MIRAE Asset Management Company. He has also conducted training programmes on Currency Futures for bankers, corporates, exchange members, and reputed institutes, such as ICAI, Mumbai & Baroda; Indian Merchants’ Chamber, Mumbai; and Networth Stock Broking, Mumbai.
